For Best Results In 2008 Using Email Leads

How are you building your MLM business in today's market? If you are using MLM Email Leads for developing your MLM business, you probably have guessed that times have changed dramatically over the last few years. It’s just as easy to pay $30 per month for an autoresponder subscription, import 5,000 proscpects over the course of a month, and get yourself 50 - 75 people opting in to your website.

That is now a thing of the past. In fact, in the early days, I could load 400 emails a month and enroll 3-4 people a week into my business. It was cake.

Today, you can put 1 million leads a month into your AR, and that sorry little autoresponder you’re using has such a poor delivery rate, emails are getting blocked, filtered and lost in cyberspace and all you can show for it is If you have ever read the book “Who Moved My Cheese,” you can either find the solution, starve to death while you keep doing the same thing, or completely quit.

If you want to keep reading, I want to talk about finding the solution.

Let me tell you what I have been seeing. If you are going to have any level of success when using email leads, you should seriously think about getting your own email hosting company, learn to manage it (or find someone who will), send leads to a landing page (or squeeze page), and have them subscribe to your own list, which you can then personally email. Let me break it down for you.

The Autoresponders - It's time to grow up and get your own system. I’m not really talking about $500-$1000 per month like some people are paying, but you are going to have to forget the days of a cheap autoresponder. It's probably time you committed yourself to becoming a little bit technical, or pay someone to do so for you.

The Leads - It's time for Bulk Email Leads You are going to have to think in terms of larger quantities of leads, and probably get them scrubbed. Get yourself several thousand leads (depending on the capacity of your server), and find a service to get them scrubbed. Scrubbing usually costs between $150-$300 per million leads. Why get them scrubbed? Because, you will get some nasty complaints, occasionally some abusive emails, spam bait, etc. Be responsible with your leads.

The Landing Page - You really should create your own landing page (or squeeze page), or have a college student create one for you. It shouldn’t cost more than $100, maybe half that, and it’s a one-time expense. Just a word of advice - don't use your company's self-replicated web page because you won’t have control over the list, and it helps protect you from being accused of spam.

Build Your Own List - You will use a second autoresponder, called a closed loop autoresponder. The one I highly recommend is Aweber. This is your new $20/month autoresponder. You will build your own list. Why? Well, we already alluded to this, but the top marketers today are top because they have their own list, and, consider this if something should ever happen to the company you are working with, and they change things somehow, you don’t lose everything because you own the list.

Here is the conclusion of the matter - you are building your own list, building a relationship with that list, and presenting to them about your business. Here's the neat part, you are generating your own leads, that are not shared with anyone else - they are exclusive to you and you alone.
